Doughnut Day 5K - Lake Mary
Doughnut Day 5K is a community running event held on May 30, 2026 in Lake Mary, Florida. The event is presented by the Rotary Club of Seminole County Sunset and is in its ninth year. It includes an in person 5K, a 5K virtual race, a free kids race called "The Sugar Rush" open to ages 1 to 10, and volunteer opportunities for people aged 10 and older.
The event supports the Rotary Club's scholarship program; the organizer states that 100% of proceeds support local high school students. Registrations listed include online adult and youth pricing and a separate free entry for the kids race. Timing is by disposable chip attached to the race bib and official results are published.
Participants receive event items and postrace refreshments specified by the organizer: a plush doughnut finisher medal (not edible) available in six designs, an event T shirt, free doughnuts at the finish line, and coffee and refreshments. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers.
Packet pick up is handled at Front Running Sports in Lake Mary on the days before the event and on race morning. If the in person race cannot take place as scheduled, participants are switched to the virtual race and merchandise remains available for pickup.
