Event details
The Medal Madness races take place on May 30, 2026, in Deland, FL (32720) at Lake Beresford Park, 2100 Fatio Rd. The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. Parking at the start location is limited; overflow parking is 0.50 miles away, and participants are asked to allow time to reach the start if they use the overflow lot.
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back course. The source lists a segment length of 0.78 miles and an out-and-back length of 1.56 miles. The 5K completes that out-and-back twice and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon course lists a segment length of 1.09 miles and an out-and-back length of 2.18 miles; the Half Marathon completes that out-and-back six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals and event shirts/gear are provided as part of the race offerings.
