Race Overview
The US Road Running event in DeLand, Florida, features multiple distance options for runners on an out-and-back course. The available distances include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
The event utilizes a specific repeating loop system. Participants in the 5K complete the out-and-back course twice, while those in the 10K complete it four times. Runners participating in the Half Marathon use a separate out-and-back route, completing the course six times to reach the total distance. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants.
Venue and Logistics
The event takes place at 2100 Fatio Road. Parking is limited at the immediate start location. Participants are encouraged to utilize the designated overflow parking area, which is located 0.50 miles away from the starting line.
Packet pickup is available at the race site beginning 30 minutes before the start and concludes 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the race. Registration is required in advance through RunSignup, as no on-site registration is provided. All finishers receive a medal for completing their respective distances.
