Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on March 14, 2026 in Deland, Florida, at 2100 Fatio Rd. The event offers three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All participants must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course that measures 1.56 miles for a single out-and-back segment. The 5K completes that segment twice; the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles, repeated six times.
There is limited parking at the start location. Overflow parking is available 0.50 miles away; participants are advised to allow time to reach the start from overflow parking. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in place.
