US Road Running - DeLand Race Details
This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and takes place in DeLand, Florida. It features three different race distances to accommodate various running goals. All participants receive a finisher medal at the end of their event.
The available distances include:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The race courses are organized as out-and-back loops. For the 5K and 10K, the route is based on a 1.56 mile out-and-back circuit; 5K runners complete this circuit two times, while 10K runners complete it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 2.18 mile out-and-back circuit that participants must complete six times to finish the race.
The event has a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the official start and concludes 10 minutes prior to the race. Registration is conducted exclusively online, as there is no on-site registration. Parking at the immediate start location is limited, and an overflow parking area is situated approximately 0.50 miles away from the starting line.
Participants may choose to wear costumes during the race. While not mandatory, a group photograph is taken at the start of the event, and a prize is awarded for the best costume afterward. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
