Luau Race Series in DeBary
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is a running event taking place at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. Participants navigate a course composed entirely of concrete paths. The event is part of the US Road Running series, featuring multiple distances to accommodate different preferences.
Available race distances include:
- 5K: A 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed once.
- 10K: The same 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed twice.
- Half Marathon: A 3.28-mile out-and-back circuit completed four times.
The event operations are centered at the O.K. Corral shelter within Gemini Springs Park, which serves as the location for check-in, bib pick-up, and the start and finish lines. To access the venue, participants enter from Dirksen Drive and utilize the West Parking loop. Restrooms are located near the playground area, across from the main gathering point.
All participants must register through the official online platform, as no on-site registration is provided. All distances are subject to a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finishers receive a medal for completing their respective events. Runners have the option to participate in a costume contest, though this is not mandatory for entry.
