Pirate 5K, 10K and Half Marathon at Gemini Springs Park
The event takes place at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, FL, at 37 Dirksen Drive. Arrival and parking instructions direct entrants to enter from Dirksen Drive, turn right at the first stop sign and use the West Parking loop. East Parking is available if West Parking is full. Check in and bib pick up are located at the O.K. Corral shelter. Restrooms are located on the opposite side of West Parking beyond the playground. Packet pickup is available before the race and all runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on site registration.
The course surface is concrete. Courses use out and back loops with measured loop distances and repeated laps for longer events. A time limit is applied to the overall course.
- 5K: out and back once, 3.11 miles
- 10K: out and back twice, 6.22 miles
- Half Marathon: out and back loop 3.28 miles repeated four times
The event features finisher medals and has associated services such as a shirt and gear shop, best costume recognition, series points and awards.
