Purpose and program
Proceeds from the event support the local Girls on the Run nonprofit. Funds are used for program costs and financial assistance so girls can participate in GOTR activities. Girls on the Run is a non-competitive after-school program for girls in grades 3-8 that combines running with social and emotional life skills over a 10-week period.
Participant items and sponsors
Registered community runners receive a GOTR 5K T-shirt and GOTR medal. Kid's Dash participants receive a special medal.
