Mt. Hope Church 5K Run for Missions
The event takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Salisbury Community Park, 935 Hurley School Road, Salisbury, NC 28147. It is organized as an annual fundraiser to support missions locally and abroad, including feeding the homeless, back-to-school supplies, toy drives, pregnancy support, and local outreach events.
The event program includes:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1/2 mile Fun Run for age 10 and under
Entry information notes an early-registration discount of $5. Listed entry prices are $30 for the 5K and $10 for the fun run; the race day 5K fee is $35. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register on or before March 1; additional shirts will be available on race day while supplies last.
Awards for the 5K include a prize for the top overall male and female and medallions for 1st through 3rd in each age group. Age groups span from 11 and under through 70 and over. The fun run awards the top three overall in the 10-and-under category and medals for all participants. Awards are presented on race day and are not mailed; participants must complete the race to receive an award.
The 5K course is certified by Salisbury Rowan Runners. Timing and scoring will be provided by Salisbury Rowan Runners and results will be posted online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
