Event overview
The Bunny Run 5k & Festival takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Concord, North Carolina. The event includes a 5k and a Fun Run, and a free festival with face painting, a DJ/MC, food trucks, arts and crafts, and dancing with the Easter Bunny. Festival activities are scheduled around the race day in downtown Concord.

Location and course
The event hub is at Fifth Third Bank - Downtown Concord, 40 Cabarrus Ave E, Concord, NC 28025. Races use a start/finish area on McCachern Blvd beside the Cabarrus County Parking Lot. Course maps are provided for the 5k and the Fun Run.
Entry, awards and packet pickup
The 5k entry fee is $20; the Fun Run is free. The Fun Run had a limited number of spots listed. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female in each age group (10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 and over). New divisions for 2026 include Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+) and Senior Grand Masters (60+). Packet pick up locations include David Phillips Activity Center and Academy Recreation Center, with additional pickup in the county parking lot on race day.
