Event overview
The 2026 Bunny Run 5k & Festival takes place in Concord, NC. The event includes a running 5k and a 1-mile Fun Run, plus a free community festival with face painting, a DJ/MC, food trucks, arts and crafts, and dancing with the Easter Bunny. Races begin on McCachern Blvd beside the Cabarrus County Parking Lot.

Competition and awards
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in these divisions: 10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 and over. New for 2026 are first overall Masters division (40+), Grand Masters division (50+), and Senior Grand Masters division (60+).
Registration, packet pick up and logistics
The 5k has a listed entry fee of $20; the Fun Run is listed as free with limited spots. Register by March 13 to be guaranteed a T-shirt. Race day registration carries an additional fee increase and is card only; on-site registration uses a QR code. Packet pick up is available at David Phillips Activity Center, at Academy Recreation Center, and on race day in the County Parking Lot next to the start/finish line. Parking options include the Cabarrus County Parking Garage, the Cabarrus County Lot on Church Street, and the City of Concord Parking Garage. Course maps are provided for both events.
