Strides for Stroke
The Strides for Stroke event is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026. It takes place at 150 North Research Campus Drive in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Races and Registration
The event features two races:
- A 5K race.
- A Kids Fun Run.
It is one of the eight races that make up the Run Kannapolis Race Series. Registering for all eight races in the series provides a 25% discount on the total registration price. Registration for the Strides for Stroke 5K and Kids Fun Run is open from December 10 until the event date on March 28. A race shirt is guaranteed for those who register by March 13.
Purpose and Activities
The event aims to raise awareness for stroke and support the Cabarrus Stroke Support Group. All proceeds benefit this local group. On event day, there will be a Survivor's Lap and coffee trucks and vendors on site.
Packet Pickup and Policies
Packet pickup is available on the day before the event, Friday, March 27, at Academy Sports on 2211 Elder Lane in Kannapolis. There is also packet pickup available on the morning of the event. The event's registration policy states there are no refunds, but transfers are possible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
