Satchel's 6th Annual Get Your Mutt Movin' 5K
The Get Your Mutt Movin' 5K is an annual event held at Payne Park in Sarasota, Florida. This event supports Satchel's Last Resort, a local no-kill animal rescue. The 5K features a flat course consisting of wide paths and sidewalks, designed to accommodate participants of various experience levels, including those walking or running with their pets.

Additional entertainment features a cartoonist and a lure course for dogs.
Registration fees vary by category, and a fundraising option is available that allows participants to waive their registration fee by meeting a specific donation threshold. The event organizers also collect donations of pet supplies for the rescue's cats and dogs at the site.
