RUN Manatee - Tom Bennett Park 5K - 2026
The event is the kickoff of the RUN Manatee 5K series and takes place at Tom Bennett Park in Bradenton, Florida on April 11, 2026. The program features a main 5 kilometer run and a short fun run for children. The 5K run and walk follows a scenic route around ponds and across mixed surfaces including grass, crushed shell and asphalt, with a water station on the course.
Race-day activities include a group warm up led by a local training group and a yoga cooldown offered by a nearby yoga studio. Event entry, warm up, yoga and the fun run are free. Pre-registration is required for the 5K. Registrants for the 5K receive a dri-fit event T shirt and a custom finisher medal; shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by March 20, 2026. Participants who complete all three events in the series will be able to combine the three medals into a single 2026 series medal.
The event also includes a marketplace of local vendors, food options, a playground and a splash pad at the park. Ten percent of 5K registration fees will be donated to Bradenton Kiwanis.
