Event overview

The Florida Man 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Veterans United Brewing, 8999 Western Way #104, Jacksonville, FL 32256. The event includes the following distances:

1 mile fun run/walk

Entry fees listed are $40 for the 5k and $35 for the 1 mile event. The 5k price increases after February 27, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Registration for the 1 mile event closes April 4, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT.

Race details and extras

Both events use chipped timing. Packet pickup is scheduled between 3:30pm and 4:30pm. The 5k course consists of three loops of a published MapMyRun route.

Participants receive a Florida Man T-shirt, a finisher medal, and Veterans United draft beer. Awards are based on age and gender, including the fastest male and female and top three males and females in these age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older. Additional awards will be given for best Florida Man and Florida WoMan costumes.

Live and text results will be available, with free downloadable race photos. A Dollar Store Door Prize game will take place after the events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
