Florida Man 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

The Florida Man 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place at Veterans United Brewing in Jacksonville, Florida. Scheduled for April 4, 2026, this event offers a relaxed racing atmosphere centered around the brewery location. The 5k race course consists of three loops around the surrounding area.

Participants can choose between two main distances:

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

All registered participants receive a Florida Man tank top t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a Veterans United draft beer. Following the races, there is an afterparty that includes the Dollar Store Door Prize game. The event also provides live and text results along with free downloadable race photos.

Awards are presented to the fastest overall male and female runners. Additionally, the top three finishers in both gender categories are recognized across various age groups, including 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older. Costumes are encouraged, with specific awards designated for the best dressed Florida Man and Florida WoMan participants. Packet pickup is held on-site at the brewery before the races begin.
