Event Overview

The Captain Chuck Cornett Navy Run is a running event held at Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS Jax) in Florida. The event offers two race distances: a 10K and a 5K.

Participant Access

Participation is restricted to authorized base MWR patrons. Each participant is responsible for their own base access. Active Duty personnel, Retirees, Reservists, Dependents, and DOD Civilians are designated as "Trusted Agents" and can sponsor other patrons in their vehicles.

Registration Details

Registration fees vary based on participant status and date.

For Military (active duty, retired, dependents, reserve): Early registration is $23.39, with fees increasing on March 3 and again on March 31.
For DOD Civilians and Non-Military (with base access): Early registration is $28.74, with fees increasing on the same dates.

Late registration is available on April 9 and 10 at the NAS Jax Base Gym, and on race morning at the Base Post Office, for a fee of $40.

Packet Pickup

Participants can collect their packets at the NAS Jax Base Gym on April 9 and 10. On race day, packet pickup and late registration are available at the Base Post Office across from the NEX Convenience store parking lot.

Awards and Shirts

The first 300 registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. Awards are given for the 10K (overall male and female winners) and for both the 10K and 5K across various age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
