Celebrate Every Mom
The DONNA Mother's Day 5K is a community event held in the historic Riverside neighborhood of Jacksonville. Taking place at Friday Musicale, this event is part of the annual Celebrate Every Mom campaign. It serves as the second race in the DONNA Fearless Series. The event aims to bring people together to honor mothers and support families living with breast cancer through the work of the DONNA Foundation.
Participants can choose from the following options:
- 5K
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual "Your Way" Challenge
The event is open to those who wish to run or walk. In-person participants have access to the DONNA Athletes' Village for pre- and post-race celebrations focused on survivorship. All participants receive a finisher shirt, a lotus flower finisher medal, and a "I'm Running For" back bib. Those attending in person also receive a goodie bag.
The course is located at 645 Oak Street, Jacksonville, Florida. Beyond the physical race, the event encourages breast health awareness and provides a platform for fundraising to assist with financial relief and support services for those in treatment.
