Event overview
The Pensacola Double Bridge Run takes place on February 7, 2026 in Pensacola, Florida. The event includes three distance categories:
- 15K
- 5K
- 5K Walk
The 15K course crosses two bridges and travels over Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound. Routes run from downtown Pensacola through the historic district and Bayfront Parkway, continue through Gulf Breeze, and finish at Pensacola Beach. The 5K course runs from Gulf Breeze to Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island.
Race details
Both races use IPICO electronic timing with a disposable chip on each bib; age-category results are based on net time and overall awards use gun time. The 15K has a required minimum pace of 14 minutes per mile. Aid stations and portable toilets are provided on course; the 15K has stations near the 2-, 6- and 8-mile marks and the 5K has a station near the 2-mile mark. Gear bag check is available at both start areas and bags are transported to the finish; only the clear bag provided at packet pickup is accepted.
Parking on Pensacola Beach is encouraged and shuttle buses run to the start areas; there is a toll-by-plate fee to access the beach on race morning. Strollers, bikes, rollerblades and dogs are not allowed on either course.
The 15K awards cash prizes to the top five men and women and age-group awards are presented at the post-race ceremony. Team scoring for the 15K totals individual times; Co-Ed teams must include at least one female and one male finisher. VIP add-on amenities are available for an extra fee.
