Double Bridge Run
The Double Bridge Run is organized by Pensacola Sports and offers two coastal road races that finish on Pensacola Beach. The event routes pass over two bridges spanning Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound and travel through downtown Pensacola, the historic district, Bayfront Parkway, Gulf Breeze, and onto Pensacola Beach.

The 15K begins in downtown Pensacola at Maritime Park and the 5K begins in Gulf Breeze at 10 Daniel Street. Both races finish in the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk parking lot. The 15K has a 14 minute per mile pace requirement. Strollers, bikes, rollerblades, and dogs are not allowed in either race.
Timing and support are provided using an IPICO electronic timing system with disposable chips and net time scoring for age category awards; overall awards are based on gun time. Aid stations supply water, basic medical support, and portable toilets; the 15K has aid stations near the 2, 6, and 8 mile marks and the 5K has an aid station near the 2 mile mark. Gear check uses a clear bag provided at packet pickup and gear is transported from the start areas to the finish line.
Participants receive a long sleeve race shirt while supplies last and a commemorative finisher medal. Cash prizes and age group awards are offered for the 15K and awards include team and category distinctions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
