Event
The Pensacola Double Bridge Run takes place on February 7, 2026, and is organized by Pensacola Sports. The event includes the following distances:
- 15K
- 5K
- 5K Walk
The 15K course starts in downtown Pensacola and runs over two bridges across Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound, passing the historic district, Bayfront Parkway, Gulf Breeze, and finishing at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk parking lot. The 5K course starts in Gulf Breeze and travels to Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island and the Gulf Islands Seashore. Start locations are listed as Maritime Park / Blue Wahoos Stadium in Pensacola for the 15K and Daniel Street in Gulf Breeze for the 5K.
Logistics and race details
The 15K uses a corral start and requires runners to maintain no slower than a 14-minute-per-mile pace. Both races are scored by net time; overall awards use gun time. Timing is electronic using IPICO chips attached to bibs; bibs must be worn visibly. There are no strollers, bicycles, rollerblades, or dogs allowed in either race.
On-course support includes water stations (15K: near the 2-, 6-, and 8-mile marks; 5K: near the 2-mile mark), medical support, and portable toilets. Gear bag check is available at start areas and bags are transported to the finish; a clear bag provided at packet pickup must be used. Participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt and a finisher’s medal; race photos are provided via a download link. Cash awards are listed for the top five finishers in the 15K (men and women).
