CPAR YPN Color Run & Walk 5K
The CPAR YPN Color Run & Walk 5K is a sporting event held in Historic Downtown Panama City, Florida. Organized by the Central Panhandle Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network, this event is a chip-timed race that travels through the city and across the Massalina Bayou Bridge. The course also passes through the scenic Cove area before returning to the start line located near the Center for the Arts at 19 E. Fourth Street.
The race features several color stations along the route. At these points, volunteers use non-toxic, cornstarch-based powder to add color to participants. Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear light-colored or white clothing to better display the powder. While participants may choose to skip the color stations, the powder is food-grade and non-toxic.
Available distances:
- 5 km
The event is chip-timed, and awards are presented to the top three finishers in multiple age group categories. Participants who register by April 1, 2026, receive a guaranteed event shirt and a finisher medal. Strollers are permitted on the course, but pets are not allowed. Proceeds from the race are donated to the Children’s Home Society to support local families and children. Post-race activities take place at History Class Brewing Company.
