CPAR 5K Run & Walk in Panama City, FL
The CPAR Young Professionals Network Color Run & Walk is a chip-timed 5K held in Historic Downtown Panama City on May 16, 2026. The start and finish are located near the Center for the Arts at 19 E. Fourth Street. The course crosses the Massalina Bayou Bridge, passes through the Cove area, and returns to the starting area. Multiple color stations along the route use non-toxic, cornstarch-based powder; volunteers toss color at participants and aim low to avoid faces. Participants are encouraged to wear white or light-colored clothing and may use sunglasses, goggles, or a bandana for added comfort. Strollers are allowed and pets are not permitted.
Shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed for participants registered by April 1, 2026. A total of 400 shirts have been ordered; availability by size will be indicated during registration. Awards will be presented to top finishers in multiple age groups for first through third place. Proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Home Society, a local organization that supports children and families. A post-race gathering is planned at History Class Brewing Company. Organizers note that the powder is made from cornstarch and food-grade dyes, is free of heavy metals, and that light rain will not cancel the event.
