US Road Running - Panama City
The US Road Running event in Panama City consists of organized races held at 500 Callaway Pkwy. Participants can choose between two different distances on a shared course layout:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
The course is designed as an out and back route. Runners participating in the 5K complete the course twice, while those registered for the 10K complete the course four times. Both distances have a maximum time limit of two hours for completion.
Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the race, starting 30 minutes before the official start and concluding 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the event. All participants are required to register in advance via RunSignup, as there is no registration available at the location on the day of the race.
Every finisher receives a themed medal upon completing their respective distance. While not a requirement for participation, runners are encouraged to wear costumes. A group photograph is taken before the start, and an award for the best costume is presented at that time.
