Bay County FAMUNITY 5K Rattler Race
The Bay County FAMU Alumni Association organizes the Bay County FAMUNITY 5K Rattler Race on June 12, 2027 in Panama City. The event raises money for scholarships for future FAMU students and brings students, families, and community members together for a morning focused on fitness and school spirit.
The course is described as flat and safe and runs through Majette and Harders Park. The distance is approximately 3.1 miles as a two lap route. Participants are invited to wear white shirts to be doused with FAMU school colors. Registration opens December 1, 2026 at 10:00 and closes June 12, 2027 at 10:00. The registration fee is $35.
