CLAY VETERANS DAY 5K
The CLAY VETERANS DAY 5K takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Orange Park, Florida. The event is organized in collaboration with the Veterans Council of Clay County, Florida, and the Clay County Board of County Commissioners. The race entry fee is listed as $45. The event program includes a ceremony, food trucks, static displays, music, and veteran-supporting organizations. Proceeds from the race will support Veterans Council Clay County Florida, Inc. (EIN: 86-1868391) and will fund operations of the Clay Veterans Center in Middleburg and associated Support Services, VetTech, and Open-Door Programs.
Event details and logistics
The course starts and finishes at the east student parking lot of Oakleaf High School and runs along Plantation Oaks, over the Hwy 23 overpass, through Oakleaf Community Park, with a turnaround at Silver Way before returning to the school parking lot. Water stations are planned along the route. Packet pick-up is scheduled for the day before the race at Oakleaf Community Park; participants must present photo ID to collect packets, and someone may collect another person’s packet with a copy of that person’s ID. The first 350 registrants who pick up packets receive a race t-shirt, custom bib, chip timing, finisher medal, and post-race refreshments. Awards will be given for overall fastest male and female in standard age groups, wheelchair divisions, and a fastest team trophy for qualifying school teams.
