Jax Healing Hearts Race 5K & 1M
The Jax Healing Hearts Race 5K & 1M is scheduled for April 11, 2026 at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, 4455 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. The event is presented as the 8th annual Jax Healing Hearts 5K & 1M and features both running and walking options.

All proceeds will support services for families and patients at The Terry Heart Institute at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Pediatric Cardiology in Jacksonville. The organizing nonprofit, The Healing Hearts Project, provides care packs, essentials during hospital stays, educational opportunities for caregivers, mental health coverage, and a support group for families affected by congenital heart disease. The organization reports support for over 500 heart families and more than 30 volunteers.
Participant information notes that shirt sizes are guaranteed to participants pre-registered by March 23, 2026 and that race packets are available for pickup only on the morning of the event. Awards include overall male and female placements, masters awards for competitors over 40, and age-group awards in ten-year intervals. Runners are eligible for only one award category. Fundraising incentives are offered, including recognition for top fundraising teams and tiered rewards for teams that reach specified fundraising targets.
