BASCA CapeABILITIES 5K and 1 Mile
The BASCA CapeABILITIES event is the 14th annual run, walk, roll event presented by BASCA in Orange Park, Florida. The event welcomes participants of all abilities and focuses on community inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It includes opportunities for in-person and virtual participation and allows teams to take part.
Distances offered:
- 5K run with chip timing and prizes for top overall and age group finishers
- 1 Mile fun walk or roll, suitable for teams and costumed participants
All registered participants receive a goodie bag, commemorative T-shirt, and a finisher medal, and are invited to an after party. The event includes themed activities such as a capes contest and awards for best team name. Sponsorship opportunities are available. To guarantee a commemorative T-shirt, registration must be completed by September 5.
