Vestcor 5K Bridge Run
The Vestcor Family Foundation holds an annual charity running event on Saturday, September 12th in downtown Jacksonville. The event offers two distances and finishes with a custom finisher medal for all finishers.
The course starts and finishes on Water Street by the Lofts at LaVilla, passes Vestcor properties including Lofts at Monroe and Lofts at Jefferson Station, and continues over the bridges before the finish line.

Post-race provisions include free food, free beer, awards, giveaways and raffle drawings. Chickfila will be on site with food, the Chickfila Cow and promotional materials. Awards are presented to the top three men and women overall, top masters male and female, and the top three finishers in each age group: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 8+.
Entry fees vary by registration date: 5K fees range from $30 to $50 and 1 mile fees range from $15 to $25. Entry fees are nonrefundable. Race instructions and packet pickup information are emailed the week of the event. Packets are available at select 1st Place Sports locations on September 10th and 11th; unclaimed packets will be moved to the race site for race day.
