Mister Softee Ice Cream Races
The event takes place at eTown's Recharge Amenity Center, 10571 eTown Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32256. It includes chip timed road races and a fun run on the same day and location.
Distances:
- 5 km (3.1 miles)
- 10 km (6.2 miles) - two laps of the 5k course with a split time
- 1 mile fun run
Participants receive a race shirt, finisher medal, Mister Softee soft serve cone with sprinkles, racing bib, downloadable finisher photo and live results. Packet pickup is located at the race start on race morning.
Registration details from the organizer:
- Registration opens 3/31/2026.
- Registration closes 8/11/2026 for the 5k and 10k, and 9/12/2026 for the 1 mile.
- Registration fee is $35.00 per entry.
5k and 10k awards are based on finisher times and are given by gender and by these age groups: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older.
Teams may be formed as a Mister Softee Team of four or more. The fastest four team members receive an average time and the fastest team is the winner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
