Event overview
The Bank of America New Year’s Eve 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida. The event benefits Gator Bowl Charities and is part of the Jacksonville Grand Prix series. The course starts and finishes on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard in front of the Veterans Memorial Arena and runs downtown and back. The race distance is 5K. All participants receive an official race shirt and all finishers receive a custom-designed finisher medal.
Logistics, fees and awards
Online, in-store and race-day registration options are offered; entry fees increase closer to race day and a $5 age discount is applied automatically for registrants 17 and under and those 65 and over for the 5K. The event has a no-refund policy. Packet pickup is available at selected 1st Place Sports locations in the days before the event, with unclaimed packets available at the race site on race day. A Run for a Child donation option is available during registration; donors receive a wristband to wear during the event. Food and drink are available after the race at the finish area. Overall and age-group awards are given, with awards for top overall finishers, masters, and the top three in each age-group category from 10 and under through 80+.
