Event overview

The Bank of America New Year’s Eve 5K Run/Walk takes place on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Veterans Memorial Arena, 300 A Philip Randolph Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. All participants receive an official race shirt and all finishers receive a custom finisher medal.
Overall and age-group awards will be given, including top three men and women overall, first place masters male and female, and top three finishers in multiple age brackets from 10 and under through 80+.
Entry fees vary by registration date, with organizer-listed prices ranging from $35 up to $50; a $5 discount applies automatically for ages 17 and under and 65 and over for the 5K.
Packet pickup is available at selected 1st Place Sports store locations in the days before the race; unclaimed packets will be available at the race site on race day. Store addresses are provided by the organizer.
Post-race food and drink will be available at the finish area. One nearby brewery, Intuition Ale Works, offers one free 5 ounce beer to participants who present their race bib after the race.
A "Run for a Child" donation option is available during registration to support Gator Bowl Charities; donors receive a wristband to wear during the event.
