The 2026 Acadia Half Marathon and 10K takes place on June 7, 2026 in Bar Harbor, Maine. The event is organized by the Mount Desert Island YMCA and serves as a fundraiser; entry fees support the YMCA’s scholarship programs. The race offers three event options:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon) : $145 (price increases after February 13, 2026)
- 10K : $65 (price increases after February 13, 2026)
- Half Marathon - Walker : $145 (price increases after February 13, 2026)

Course and sustainability
The half marathon follows the Acadia National Park Loop Road and is described as a 13.1 mile course with views of Acadia National Park and Maine’s rocky coastline. The site notes that Mount Desert Island contains about 41,000 acres devoted to Acadia National Park.
The organizer states a commitment to environmentally conscious racing. For 2026, participants are asked to bring reusable cups, handheld bottles, or hydration packs. The race will provide paper cups at six water stations but aims to reduce cup waste in future years; past estimates show over 6,000 paper cups used per race.
