Acadia Half Marathon and 10K : Bar Harbor, ME
The event on 6 June 2027 is organized by the Mount Desert Island YMCA and takes place in Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island. The courses run on the Acadia National Park Loop road and follow sections of the park and Maine’s rocky coastline. The island is described as the third largest on the eastern seaboard with about 41,000 acres of land in Acadia National Park. The course may be adjusted for closures or construction.

- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 10K - 10 kilometers
- Half Marathon Walker - 13.1 miles (walking only)
The event is a cupless event for 2027 as part of an effort to reduce disposable cup waste. All half marathon participants receive a race-branded reusable silicon cup at bib pick. 10K participants may purchase a race-branded reusable silicon cup during registration if they register before February 1. Participants may also bring a personal reusable cup, handheld water bottle, or hydration pack.
There are six water stations on the half marathon course and two water stations on the 10K course, with water available to fill reusable containers. There is no race day packet pickup.
