US Road Running - Plant City
The US Road Running event in Plant City, Florida, features a road race with multiple distance options. Participants can choose between two main race categories:
- 5K
- 10K
The competition is held on a 0.78-mile out-and-back course. Runners participating in the 5K event are required to complete the course two times, while those registered for the 10K must complete the course four times. The entire event has a set course time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
All participants must complete their registration through the RunSignup platform before the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is scheduled to begin 30 minutes prior to the start of the race and concludes 10 minutes before the official start.
Finishers receive a themed medal upon completion of their distance. In addition to the race, there is an invitation for participants to wear costumes, with a dedicated recognition for the best costume presented at the event.
