HC Hawk Run 5K - GLOW RUN
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation in November 2026 at Hillsborough College Brandon Campus, 10451 Nancy Watkins Dr., Tampa, FL 33619. Distances offered include:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile
In-person activities take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The virtual option runs from November 7 to November 14, 2026; virtual participants can run or walk the course on their own and submit results for the leaderboard.
Registration is $25 through November 6, with race day and late registration at $30. Virtual entries registered by October 30 may have race bags mailed for a flat $12 fee; packet pick-up is available in person before the event or on race day. Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled November 5 and 6 outside BADM 101; race day packet pick-up is at the HC Brandon Campus Student Services east side parking lot.
The entry fee includes a glow accessory, race bag with swag, race t-shirt, participant medal, and post-race food; the first 300 registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt and medal. The in-person 5K will use MyLaps Bib Tag sports timing (RFID). Strollers are allowed; pets are not permitted at the in-person event.
Awards and recognition include standard 5-year age groups, certificates for top three in each age group, top three male and female finishers in specified categories, and cash prizes for HC student top finishers. Teams and several social media photo contests will receive separate recognition. Race proceeds support the Hillsborough College Foundation for student scholarships and the HC Hawk Run Endowed Scholarship Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
