Autumn River Views 5k & 10k
The Autumn River Views event takes place on November 15 at Carderock Recreation Area on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath in Potomac, MD. The event offers chip timing and awards, and points from these races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series as well as the organizer's Fall Series. Walkers are welcome and a virtual race option is available.

- 5k Out-and-back on the C&O Canal path, light gravel trail.
- 10k Out-and-back on the C&O Canal path, light gravel trail.
All routes run along the C&O Canal path, a light gravel dirt trail, with each route using an out-and-back layout and minimal elevation gain. The 10k course includes four water stations at approximately miles 1.55, 2.7, 3.5 and 4.65; the 5k course includes one water station at approximately mile 1.55. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located by the main parking lot.
Runners receive a finisher's medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before November 4; additional shirts are available after that date on a first-come first-served basis. Top three overall men and women receive awards; age group awards are given for 19&Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ with first and second places. Live results are posted on Athlinks and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. The event benefits Team RWB DC. There is no on-site race registration.
