2026 Arlington 9/11 Memorial 5K
The Arlington Police, Fire, Sheriff and ECC 9/11 Memorial 5K is an annual event held in Arlington, Virginia. The race serves to honor the first responders who served on September 11, 2001. Participants include community members, runners, and walkers who gather to support 9/11-related charities.

The in-person race takes place at 300 Army Navy Drive, specifically based at the DoubleTree Hotel in Crystal City. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option is available which includes a commemorative race shirt and a downloadable bib. The physical course has a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Strollers are permitted but are required to start at the back of the field. Dogs are not allowed on the race course.
Awards are presented to the first-place male and female finishers in the specialized categories for law enforcement, firefighters, military personnel, public safety communications, and the open division, as well as for the 12 and under age group. Team awards are also provided for the top-performing groups.
Post-race festivities feature a DJ at the finish area, light snacks, and water. Food trucks are also present on-site for participants. Due to limited parking at the venue, the use of the Metro is recommended, with the closest stations being Pentagon City and Pentagon on the Blue and Yellow lines.
