Arlington Police, Fire, Sheriff and ECC 9/11 Memorial 5K
The Arlington Police, Fire, Sheriff and ECC 9/11 Memorial 5K is a community memorial run held in Arlington, Virginia at the DoubleTree Hotel in Crystal City. The event honors first responders and brings together runners, walkers, and community members to support 9/11‑related charities.
Registration fees vary by date: December 1 – February 9: $35; February 10 – June 30: $40; July 1 – August 29: $45; September 1 – Race Day: $50. Ages 12 and under: $30. A virtual runner option is available at the same rates; virtual registration closes on August 24. Virtual participation includes a commemorative race shirt and a downloadable bib.
Packet pickup is offered at Road Runner Sports, 1101 S Joyce St Suite #B-23, Arlington, VA on Wednesday and Thursday and at extended hours on Friday and Saturday at the DoubleTree. Baggage drop is available in the DoubleTree Commonwealth Room; a clear bag provided at packet pickup is requested and items are checked at participant risk.
Awards are presented for individual and team categories across law enforcement, firefighter, military, public safety communications, open, and a 12 and under division, with male and female awards where noted.
Post-race provisions include light snacks, water and non-alcoholic beverages provided by ARAMARK, food trucks, a family-friendly DJ near the finish, and an awards ceremony. Strollers may start at the back; dogs are not permitted. The course has a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
