Walkers complete 5k laps on a 3.3 mile off road loop from Lower Car Park, Beacon Hill Country Park, on crushed stone climbs and descents with aid every 5k and a head torch needed after 7pm.

Walkers follow a 26.2 mile loop from Alstonefield Village Hall across open farmland, dales and hills with 4800 feet ascent, six manned checkpoints with water and snacks and transport for retirees.
