The course features multiple support points throughout the distance:
- Six manned checkpoints are located approximately every 4 miles.
- Checkpoints provide water, squash, snacks, and first aid facilities.
- Mobile communications are maintained between checkpoints for support.
- Transportation back to the start is available for participants who retire from the event.
The registration fee includes locally made hot food and cakes provided at the finish. Participants who complete the distance receive a certificate and a cloth badge.
