Winter Hains Point 5K & 10K
Bishops Events hosts the Winter Hains Point 5k & 10k at Hains Point in Washington, DC. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available. Walkers and strollers are welcome.

- 5 km out and back once
- 10 km two laps of the 5 km course
The routes run on a paved road around Hains Point alongside the river and are described as flat and scenic. The Back of the Pack (BOTP) pace for this course is 11:00; BOTP refers to a series for runners who average slower than that pace and is not a time cutoff.
Runners receive a finisher's medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. Water stations are placed at approximately mile markers 1 and 2.1 on the 5k, and at approximately mile markers 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, and 5.2 on the 10k; Gatorade is available at some stations. Port-a-johns are located near the start/finish area.
Packet pickup is available at the event; organizers recommend early arrival for check-in. There will be no on-site race registration. Live results are posted on Athlinks with a QR code at the race, and final results with series points are published the Monday after the event. Runner tracking via SMS is offered during registration.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in age groups 19&Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall top three finishers are not eligible for age-group prizes. The event partners with Operation Turbo.
