Moray Firth Triathlon Club Festival, Gordonstoun
The Triathlon Festival at Gordonstoun School takes place on 20 Sep 2026 and is organised by Moray Firth Triathlon Club. An Event Permit has been issued by British Triathlon. The festival returns for its tenth consecutive year and includes a Sprint Triathlon plus a limited number of Aquabike entries (swim and bike only). The event is described as "no frills"; there are no medals, t-shirts, goody bags or catering provided.
Race format and distances:
- 412 m pool swim (18 lengths of a 25 yard pool)
- 25 km cycle on public roads
- 5.0 km run off road within the Gordonstoun grounds Aquabike entrants complete the swim and bike, rack their bike and cross the finish line. The race will be electronically timed and results will be available shortly after the event.
Entry, licences and eligibility: entrants must be aged 15 or older on 31 December 2026. Gordonstoun pupils entering the Sprint must be aged 15–18 on that date and have free entry; non Home Nation members must purchase a British Triathlon race pass. Race pass costs are shown at checkout and include a small service fee.
Other notes: accurate 400 m swim times are requested for heat and lane allocation. Entry places cannot be exchanged. Refunds within four weeks of the event are at the organiser's discretion and only if the place can be filled; no refunds after the closing date. Results and certain personal data may be published or passed to governing bodies for insurance, licences or investigations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
