The Buckie 10k
The Buckie 10k is a Scottish Athletics approved road race held on 6 September 2026. The event uses a new course and is chip timed. The course is all on road but is not a closed road race; a large section follows the Moray Coastal cycle route.
The route starts and finishes at The Fisherman's Hall in Buckie, runs through the town centre toward Findochty, and returns on the coastal cycle path. An aid station with water is provided at 5 km and there is music along the course.
Entries are limited to 300 places. Bespoke medals are provided for all finishers. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers on gun time, with additional awards by age category. The event enforces a 1 hour 45 minute cut off; marshals and on-course support are withdrawn at cut off times.
Registration and bib collection are based at The Fishermans Hall. The event is unsuitable for wheelchairs and running with buggies or pets is not permitted. Headphones must be bone conducting. Basic free refreshments are available at the finish. Changing facilities and toilets are provided in the hall and a bag drop is available but the organisers accept no liability for belongings. Parking in the town is limited and car sharing is suggested. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
