Forres Harriers Brodie Castle 10k 2026
This event takes place on 18 October 2026 in the grounds of Brodie Castle and is held under SA License. The course has been tweaked and re-measured and is a certified 10 km. The race uses chip timing and all finishers receive a medal or memento. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third overall in both the male and female fields and to age category groups; one runner may receive only one prize and overall awards take precedence.
Registration is in the castle grounds from 09:30 to 10:45 and a pre-race safety briefing will be given at the start. The roads on the route are not closed so runners should be aware of other traffic and follow marshal instructions; marshals cannot stop traffic. Under the event risk assessment and UK Athletics rules, wearing any type of headphones is prohibited and may lead to disqualification. There is no water station on course so runners should arrive hydrated or carry their own drinks. Course support and the finish system may be withdrawn after 90 minutes; tail cyclists and marshals will assist with medical needs or if a runner cannot complete the race.
Post-race refreshments are available at the castle coffee shops for a charge. Toilets are provided in the car park and Playful Garden areas; there are no on-site changing facilities. Car parking is available in the grounds with charges for non-runners; runners must show registration confirmation to qualify for free parking. Entry is online only via Entry Central, limited to 400 places and closing on 15 October 2026 or sooner if full. Entry fees are £23.00 for SA members plus £3.00 for non SA runners.
