Forres Harriers Brodie Castle 10k 2026
Forres Harriers Brodie Castle 10k takes place on 18 October 2026 at Brodie Castle. The race is held under an SA License and the course has been remeasured and certified as a 10 km route.
The event uses chip timing and all finishers receive a medal or memento. Prizes are awarded to first, second and third overall in both male and female categories, with additional age-group prizes. Only one prize per runner will be awarded and overall places take precedence over age-group awards.
Registration and race-number collection occur on the day in the grounds of Brodie Castle. A pre-race safety briefing will be given at the start line. The roads on the race route are not closed to traffic and marshals cannot stop vehicles, so runners should remain aware of road users. Under the event risk assessment and UK Athletics rules, wearing headphones or earphones of any type is prohibited and may result in disqualification.
There is no water station on the course; participants should arrive hydrated or carry their own drinks. Course support and marshals will be withdrawn after 90 minutes. Parking is available in the castle grounds with charges for non-runners; runners must bring registration confirmation to obtain free parking. Refreshments and toilets are available at the castle; there are no changing facilities on site.
Entry is online only via Entry Central, limited to 400 places on a first come first served basis, with no waiting list. Entry fees are shown as £23 for SA members and £26 for non SA runners. Online entries close on 15 October 2026 or earlier if the field fills. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
