Event overview
The Forres Harriers Brodie Castle race is a certified 10 km road race held on 19 October 2025 in the grounds of Brodie Castle, a National Trust for Scotland property. The course has been re-measured and is held under SA License ESO14498. Chip timing is used and all finishers receive a medal or memento. Overall prizes for first, second and third male and female finishers will be awarded, and there are age-category prizes; one runner may receive only one prize and overall category takes precedence.
Race logistics and entries
Entries are limited to 400 places and are accepted online through Entry Central. Online entries close on 1 October 2025 or sooner if the field fills; there will be no waiting list. Entry fees are shown for SA and non-SA runners. Race numbers, including timing chips, must be collected on race day; numbers are not posted. The route is run on open roads that are not closed to traffic; marshals cannot stop traffic. There is no water station on course. Support on the course will be withdrawn after 90 minutes. Toilets are available in the car park and Playful Garden areas; there are no changing facilities. Refreshments are available in the castle coffee shops (chargeable). Registration takes place in the grounds of Brodie Castle on race day. Headphones are prohibited and wearing them may lead to disqualification.
