Skedaddle Speyside 10k
The Skedaddle Speyside event is a trail race of approximately 10 km held on 11 October 2026. It is part of the Speyside Series 2026, which also includes shorter runs and a half marathon. Entries are open and limited places are available; entries close Friday 9th October and there will be no on the day entry.
Registration takes place in Archiestown Village Hall where toilet and changing facilities are available. Parking is available in the village square and surrounding lanes; limited parking is also provided at the finish within Cardhu Distillery grounds. A shuttle bus will run for runners between start and finish at no extra charge. Belongings may be left at the hall at the owner’s risk.
The route is point to point, beginning at Archiestown Village Square and finishing at Cardhu Distillery. It follows land management firetracks into Elchies woods with a gradual incline for about one mile before becoming more undulating with views towards the Little and Meikle Conval hills and Ben Rinnes. Around four miles the course narrows and becomes muddy, passes a narrow gate, descends the Mannoch Road, crosses the B9102 with marshals to assist, and runs along the right side of Cardhu reservoir past Highland cattle before the finish at Cardhu Distillery.
Water will be available at the halfway point and at the finish. First aid, a sweeper runner, and volunteer marshals will be on hand. Prize awards cover first and second male and female overall and veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70. All entrants receive a finisher’s memento.
