Old Armor 5K

Old Armor 5K for Heroes takes place on November 7, 2026, at Old Armor Beer Company in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The event includes a 5K road race and a Youth Fun Run and is part of the Run Kannapolis series associated with the City of Kannapolis Discover a Healthy Life brand and cosponsored by Atrium Health.

Each race in the Run Kannapolis series is hosted by a local nonprofit and entry fees benefit the host organizations. All proceeds from this 5K will be donated to W.A.R. (Warriors Always Rise), a local nonprofit that supports Veterans and First Responders.

Registration and policy details stated for the event include that participants who register after October 30, 2026 will not receive a shirt or medal. The event has a no refunds policy. Race management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation attributed to Acts of God. The series offers a 25% discount for registering for all eight Run Kannapolis races by March 28.
