4th Annual 5K Suicide Awareness/Prevention Event
The 4th Annual 5K Suicide Awareness/Prevention event takes place in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. This community event is hosted by The Big E - Life Changers, Inc. and is scheduled for September 2026. The gathering serves to provide awareness, support, and various resources to individuals within the local community regarding suicide prevention.
Participants can choose between two main participation formats for the 5K distance:
- 5k Run/Walk (In-person)
- Virtual 5k
The in-person race is held at Frank Liske Park, located at 4001 Stough Rd in Concord. For the virtual event, participants can complete the distance from a location of their choosing within the specified timeframe. Both versions of the event require registration fees. Registration for the physical race remains open until the morning of the event, while the virtual registration closes the day prior.
This annual gathering focus is on providing a space for members of the community to connect and access information related to health and wellness resources.
