The Big E – Life Changers, Inc. hosts the 4th Annual 5K Suicide Awareness/Prevention event. The event takes place in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, specifically at Frank Liske Park on 4001 Stough Rd in Concord. The date is Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Event Options
Participants can choose from two options:
- A 5k Run/Walk event.
- A Virtual 5k event.
Registration and Schedule
Registration for the in-person 5k Run/Walk ends on September 12, 2026. Registration for the Virtual 5k ends on September 11, 2026. Early packet pickup is available on Friday, September 11, at Frank Liske Park. Packet pickup on race day runs from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM.
Included with Registration
Registration for the in-person event includes a race shirt, a bib number, chip timing for the 5k, and a finisher medal. The virtual event registration includes a race shirt and medal, which are mailed after the in-person race date.
Awards
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers. Awards are also given to the top male and female finisher in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
