Calgary Heartbeat Run : Baker Park, Calgary
The Calgary Heartbeat Run takes place at Baker Park in Calgary, Alberta. The event offers multiple distances and supports the Heart and Stroke Foundation through participant fundraising.

The 5 km follows the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway path east from Baker Park to a 2.5 km turnaround. The 10 km follows the same corridor and continues to the 5 km turnaround. All events are chip timed pending attendance. A package pickup is available the day before at Gords Running Store and there is late pickup on race day. There is ample parking at Baker Park; participants should proceed to the Commons Area for final check-in.
All participants receive a cotton casual race T-shirt and a commemorative finisher medal. After the finish line, fruit, muffins and other snacks are provided and medical services are available. Water bottles will be available for refilling and participants are encouraged to bring their own water container.
No age group awards will be distributed this year. Results will be posted onsite as updated, with official results published within 24 hours. The event follows an air quality protocol and will be cancelled if provincial air quality reaches Level 7 or greater; participants will be notified in advance.
