5K Bark-A-Thon - North Glenmore Park, Calgary
The Bark-A-Thon is a 5K event held at North Glenmore Park, Crowchild Trail Southwest, Calgary. The event raises funds for the Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation and includes on-site activities after the run.
The event day includes registration and bib pickup, the start of the course, and a post-race festival with music, food and activities. A lead cyclist guides participants along the route and a sweep volunteer ensures no one is left behind.

Registration offers Basic and Upgraded options; the Upgraded option includes a race shirt in addition to a bib. A kids category is available: children under 6 are free and participants over 12 are charged adult pricing. The festival features live music from Country 105, a beer garden hosted by Screaming Retriever Brewing Company, treats from Village Ice Cream, activities with Pet Valu and Escape to the Country Kennels, a photo backdrop, raffle prizes and fundraising awards provided by event sponsors.
