5K Bark-A-Thon
The 5K Bark-A-Thon is a fundraising running event at North Glenmore Park, Crowchild Trail Southwest, Calgary, AB, organized to raise funds for Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation. The event includes a run followed by a festival with food, games and music.

Registration categories include basic and upgraded entries for the 5K and kid entries for participants over six years. Basic entries include a race bib; upgraded entries include an event shirt. Kids under six are free; participants over twelve are charged at adult pricing.
Check-in takes place at the registration tent in Parking Lot A beside the Calgary Rowing Club. A lead cyclist will guide participants along the course and a sweep volunteer called the "caboose" will follow the field. Raffle prize draws and fundraising awards are scheduled after the run.
The festival features live music from Country 105, a beer garden hosted by Screaming Retriever Brewing Company, treats from Village Ice Cream, activities with Pet Valu and Escape to the Country Kennels, a photo backdrop, and raffle prizes. Event sponsors include Purina Nestle Canada, Petvalu Bowness and Royal Oak, 3FAB Metal Manufacturing, Screaming Retriever Brewing Co., Country 105 and Village Ice Cream.
