Run for Life 2026 in Calgary
Run for Life 2026 is organized by CMHA Alberta and Centre for Suicide Prevention. The event is the ninth annual Run for Life and runs from September 6 to 13, 2026, with a Calgary signature in-person gathering on September 13 at North Glenmore Park, Weaselhead parking lot.
The event is hybrid: it offers an in-person Calgary signature event and pop-up gatherings across Canada, plus virtual participation anywhere during the event week. Participants may run, walk, bike or take part in other physical activities such as yoga or fitness classes.
The Calgary signature program includes a memorial walk followed by a casual 5K run. Distances listed:

Fundraising is a core component; the event page lists CA$55,009.38 raised toward a CA$175,000.00 goal and indicates about 80 participants. Registration pricing is shown as CA$23.56, with a group discount when four or more participants register together.
