Run for Life 2026 - Calgary
Run for Life 2026 is the ninth annual event presented by CMHA Alberta and Centre for Suicide Prevention. It takes place from September 6 to September 13, 2026 and combines in‑person and virtual participation. The Calgary signature gathering is set at North Glenmore Park, beginning at the Weaselhead parking area, and pop up events will be held across Canada. Virtual participants may run, walk, bike or complete other physical activities from any location.
The Calgary program includes a memorial walk and a casual 5K run. Distances and formats offered:

- 5K casual run
Registration fees are listed on the event page; an example fee appears as CA$23.56. An optional race kit is available for CA$10 and includes snacks, a race bib, a suicide awareness ribbon, socks, a resource toolkit and a help card. Teams of four or more registered on the same registration receive a 25% discount. Fundraising is a core component: the listed fundraising organization is CMHA Alberta and Centre for Suicide Prevention, with CA$5,200.62 raised toward a CA$175,000 goal.
