Bronte Harbour Classic 2027
The Bronte Harbour Classic takes place on June 20, 2027 at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park in Oakville, Ontario. The event combines three race distances with a waterfront festival featuring live music, a vendor market, a kids zone, and a beer garden.
Distances
- 5K : chip timed, run or walk, stroller friendly
- 10K : new for 2027, chip timed, run only
- Kids 1K : ages 2 to 12, not timed, every finisher receives a medal
The course is flat and paved along the Bronte Harbour waterfront and is described as stroller friendly. The 5K and 10K use chip timing; the Kids 1K is a fun run with a medal for every child. Inaugural event statistics from 2026 are noted: the first year sold out with several hundred runners and more than 100 kids finishing the 1K. Podium medals and awards were presented in 2026; the prize structure for 2027 is being finalized.
A charity element supports the Oakville Dads Community Fund, with organizers stating that donations remain local. A limited virtual entry option is offered for people who cannot attend in person; virtual participants can run a 5K or 10K during race week and receive the same finisher medal mailed within Canada.
