BRIGHT Run

BRIGHT Run is a family-friendly, non-competitive charity run/walk held at Christie Lake Conservation Area in Hamilton. Participants choose a 1 km or 5 km route in an electric, inspiring atmosphere. The event is 100% volunteer-powered, with all proceeds funding local breast cancer research in Hamilton.

To date, BRIGHT Run has funded 21 research projects, including four new ones in 2024, and attracted about 1,700 participants and 200 volunteers at the 2024 edition. The 18th BRIGHT Run is set for Saturday, September 6, 2025. Community partners cover all organizing expenses, with a fundraising goal of $518,000 for 2025 today.
