Costumes are encouraged, with prizes awarded for best individual costume and best team costume. Teams may register and compete for awards that recognize top overall finishers, age-group winners, and best team time.
Registration opens July 23 and closes August 1; early bird pricing applies through August 1. All participants who register by September 20 will receive a complimentary race shirt; registrants after that date may receive a shirt while supplies last. The listed registration fee is $30.00.
All proceeds support Historic Congressional Cemetery, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preservation and interpretation of the site. Founded in 1807, the cemetery is a 35-acre active burial ground with more than 70,000 interments and serves as both a historic landscape and a community space sustained through public programs, preservation efforts, and events held on the grounds.
