DH River Run, Carlisle
The DH River Run is a 10 km out and back road race on a river path in Carlisle scheduled for 25 October 2026. The course runs from Denton Holme towards Dalston and includes one water station. The start and finish are located on Denton Street between Holme Head House and the junction with North Street.
Parking is provided at Rome Street Car Park CA2 5LE. Registration, toilets, prize presentation and refreshments are at Denton Holme WMCC, 1 Morley Street CA2 5HQ. Registration opens at 8.30am and closes at 9.30am; a race briefing is planned for 9.50am in the start area.
Prizes are awarded for first, second and third male and female, and for first male and female under 18 plus categories V40, V50, V60 and V70. Entry is open to anyone aged 16 or over. Entry fees are listed as £21 unaffiliated and £19 affiliated. The event has a maximum of 230 places and the listing shows 187 remaining places. One pound from each entry will be donated to the Well Communities Charity.
A 50 percent refund plus administration fee is available until 11 October; no refunds are offered after that date. Entries are non-transferable. There will be a post race buffet and event photos by Fellside Photography will be available for free after the event. Live results will be published by the event timing provider.
