Blencathra Marathon

The Blencathra Marathon is a challenging fell running event set in the scenic Lake District, featuring a 26.5-mile circular route with an elevation gain of nearly 6000 feet. Participants will tackle five Wainwright summits, including Bowscale, Blencathra, Mungrisdale Common, Knott, and High Pike, starting and finishing in Caldbeck. The event is designed for experienced fell and trail runners, offering amenities such as a finishers medal, t-shirt, and refreshments at the end.
