Blencathra Marathon

Blencathra Marathon is a 26.5-mile circular fell and trail marathon based in Caldbeck, Cumbria. The route climbs five Wainwright summits—Bowscale Fell, Blencathra, Mungrisdale Common, Knott and High Pike—before returning to Caldbeck, delivering almost 6,000 ft of ascent. It is suitable for experienced runners and walkers, and is fully tracked with GPS.

The event features two water checkpoints, snacks, hot drinks at the finish, and a 12-hour time limit. Finishers receive a medal and t-shirt; there are trophies for the top finishers.
