Old Crown Round Fell Race

The Old Crown Round is a challenging category AL fell race held in the Northern Fells of the Lake District, starting and finishing in Hesket Newmarket village. Covering approximately 36 km (22.4 miles) with 2200 meters (7218 feet) of ascent, the course loops over high summits including Carrock Fell, Blencathra, Skiddaw House, Skiddaw summit, Knott, and High Pike. The terrain features roads, tracks, paths, open fields, and remote fell areas, requiring strong navigational skills.
