Blue Hill Mountain Trail Fest
Blue Hill Mountain Trail Fest is a multi-distance trail event on Blue Hill Mountain in Blue Hill, Maine, held on August 7, 2027. The event offers multiple looped courses around the mountain with a mix of open fields, densely forested technical singletrack, and coastal viewpoints.

Course notes: the 5k starts at the Mountain Rd field and includes an out-and-back on Post Office Trail, an ascent on Osgood Trail to the summit, and a descent via the Service Road trail back to the start/finish. The 10k includes an upper loop for a first summit followed by a full figure-eight loop that yields a second summit. The 25k follows a shorter upper loop then three full figure-eight loops. The 50k consists of seven full figure-eight loops.
Facilities and support: the race hub at the start/finish serves as the main aid station with hydration, varied snacks, and regional items such as whoopie pies; a smaller aid station at the Post Office/Osgood/Mountain Rd intersection provides water, electrolytes, and limited snacks. Designated drop bags are available for 50k and 25k runners. Support crews may be stationed for 25k and 50k runners at Osgood/Mountain Rd; pacers are not permitted.
Community and access: proceeds will be transferred to Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Wabanaki Alliance. The Blue Hill peninsula offers coastal inns, B&Bs, and motels; summer vacancy may be limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
