Yorkshire 3 Peaks Trail Weekend
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Trail Weekend, hosted by Running Adventures, is a guided trail running event set in the scenic Yorkshire Dales National Park, starting from Horton in Ribblesdale. Over the weekend, participants tackle the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, a 24-mile (38.6 km) route with 1,585m (5,200 ft) of ascent, summiting Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. The pace is steady, mixing hiking uphill with running flats and descents.
Accommodation is provided in a cozy bunkhouse on the route. On the second day, runners can enjoy a 10km loop along the Pennine Way. The event includes expert coaching, trail running tips, and a supportive, social atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
