The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Trail Weekend takes place in Horton in Ribblesdale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park from 2-4 July 2027. The main outing is the Yorkshire Three Peaks route, a 24 mile (38.6 km) round trip with a total ascent of 1585 m (5200 ft). The route visits the peaks Pen-y-Ghent (694 m), Whernside (736 m) and Ingleborough (723 m). A shorter run on the final day is a 10 km loop with about 269 m (885 ft) of elevation that follows part of the Pennine Way and goes past Hull Pot.
Logistics and accommodation
Accommodation is in the "3 Peaks Bunkroom" in Horton in Ribblesdale, in single-sex rooms of up to six people. The bunkroom has parking and a kitchen and sits on the route. Friday evening includes arrival and a welcome dinner in a local pub. Saturday includes the full Three Peaks route and an evening meal; Sunday offers the 10 km loop. All runs are guided and will be kept as a group at a social pace.
Requirements, price and inclusions
The listed price is £260 per person, secured with a £100 non-refundable deposit; the remaining balance is due 10 weeks before the event, with instalment options available by arrangement. Organiser guidance recommends recent long-distance experience and the ability to sustain about 10 min/mile (6:15 min/km) on flats and descents. Included are bunkhouse accommodation, a welcome drink, guided trail runs by a qualified guide and coach, coaching advice, a complimentary training plan, and event photos and video.
