About the race
Ranger Ultras Yorkshire Pen-Y-Ghent 50k is an off-road ultra in North Yorkshire, starting and finishing at Hawes Market House. The 50-km route climbs about 1,280 metres, tracking from Hawes along the Cam Road to Horton-in-Ribblesdale, summiting Pen-y-Ghent, then returning along the same route. The event emphasizes a low-key, great-value, big-enjoyment experience with generous cut-off times, Ranger Ultras team support, on-course water stops, snacks, and hot soup at key points.
