Pen-Y-Ghent Ultra – Ranger Ultras
The Pen-Y-Ghent Ultra is a 50 km trail race. It is held in Hawes, in the Yorkshire Dales. The route is an out-and-back course that goes over Pen-Y-Ghent mountain. It features a total ascent of 1280 metres.
The event is described as a low-key, big-enjoyment trail race in the organizer's style. It is noted as an autumn season race and mentioned as a choice for a first mountain ultra. The route is not waymarked beyond existing finger posts, but a GPX file is sent to entrants before the event.
